What is the MOQ for custom PVC patches?

Our MOQ for custom PVC patches starts from 25 pcs. For larger quantities, pricing can be quoted based on size, mold complexity, colors, backing and packaging requirements.

How long does sampling and bulk production take?

Sample production usually takes 3–5 days. Bulk production usually takes 5–7 days, depending on order quantity, mold complexity, color details and production requirements.

Do PVC patches need a custom mold?

Yes. PVC patches require a custom mold, also called tooling. The mold cost depends on the size, shape, detail level and 2D or 3D structure of the design. Customer molds can normally be stored for 2 years to make repeat orders easier.

Can PVC patches be heat pressed?

Yes, PVC patches can be heat pressed on suitable fabrics when the right backing is used. Suggested starting settings are 140–150°C, 12–15 seconds and around 3P pressure. Avoid applying high heat directly to the PVC surface, and always test on the actual product first.

Are gradients and photo designs suitable for PVC?

Gradients and photo-like artwork are not ideal for molded PVC patches. For those effects, sublimated or printed patches are usually better options. PVC is better for solid colors, molded layers and raised details.
